They just interviewed Demarcus on the Mavs pre-game show here on a local station, was a pretty good interview and I'll try to hit the highlights from memory.
Derek Harper picked against the Cowboys last week, so they let Ware give him a little ribbing for minute before breaking into some football questions.
They asked what was the catalyst for this season going the way it should, Demarcus said it really started way back in OTA, there was a new face of on the franchise, and everyone really bought into the team motto. Basically said everyone agreed to know thier job/role and to perform it well. Went on to say there is a little bit of a lull to start the season but toward the end they really picked it up, and he feels they are peaking at the right time.
They asked who the best basketball player in the Cowboys was, and he talked for a minute about Romo, Austin and Spears. Then Harper brought up Bennett, and Demarcus said he hadn't seen him play. The female interviewer chirped in and said he talks a big game. Right then, Demarcus said "He talks!", kind of insinuating that Bennett talks a lot. (Which I think we all know). Harper told him that Bennett was a High School All American, and Demarcus replied "so was Marcus Spears".
Was a pretty good interview overall, its impossible not to like Ware, he has a smile and a laugh that are infectious.
