Just a few tidbits I picked up from the Colts game:

DWare is becoming a complete OLB. Not only did he nail Manning on his blindside early in the game, knocking the ball loose-this made Peyton nervous for the rest of the game, I believe. Ware was coming from all directions, which is what I've been yelling for since he got here. He had one sack, but he also had several hurries that resulted in incompletions.

WareWolfs' biggest moment came in the last play on the defensive side of the ball. On 4th & 2, Manning drops back to pass, but he can't find either of his two receivers on the left side open, so he throws the ball away. Then he turns to the refs like a good whiner should, & complains that his receivers got pushed. He was right, sort of. One got pushed, and one got knocked on his ***. Both by Ware. First, he shoves Clark, knocking him off of his route, as he goes into the end zone, (didn't matter either way, cause Aaron Glenn attached himself to Clark like a leach). Then, Ware turns & knocks Reggie Wayne on his keester, just before the ball was thrown.
Beautiful play by Ware.

I wholeheartedly agree with the comments made about how well Oliver Hoyt is doing at FB. Man, he made hits on Sunday that would make Moose proud. To take a player who is obviously an aggressive athlete, and put him at FB, where violent aggression is lauded was near genius. Now, we have our lead blocker for a long time to come.

Note to Roy Williams: Kill only the guys without the stars on their helmets...haha. Man, he is starting to remind me of that guy on "The Replacements", where he has to be told time & time again not to kill the QB in practice. Williams wiped out Henry on one play, then takes an interception away from TNew. Come on, Roy, Newman needs all the ints. he can get to get him to the Pro Bowl. Seriously, though, I love the beast. I know for sure that at least 4-5 drops the Indy WRs made were from hearing beastly footsteps....

Speaking of footsteps, does anyone else cringe every time Vanderjagt is on the field? I don't mean for field goals. I'm talking about extra points too. I mean, EVERY kick is wide right. If he weren't so close to the uprights, I think he would miss all of the extra points as well as the field goals. You know it's coming, unless he gets his head together. Maybe BP should have Matt Bahr give Vandy a call to give him some pointers.

Ware needs a mean streak. He could have blasted Manning from behind. Instead he hit him soft.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Bungarian is mocking those who say that....

Ware looks like an OLB this year. Last year, he looked like an OLB at times, but at times, he also looked like a DE trying to play OLB. This year, he looks like a pure LB. His stats aren't going to match Merriman's. I doubt they ever will. But if you watch him play, its clear, that Ware is playing great.

Problem is, ESPN doesn't catch on quickly. And because a vast majority of fans use ESPN as a way to learn about football, they don't see the nuances of the game.

I am reminded of this every time I am watching football with my friends and the ol "Merriman is the best LBer in the game" comments arise. Or when discussing CBs.....or DL.....

I don't even watch Cowboys field goals any longer. I leave the living room to catch a break, cause I know something bad will happen. And you and Vanderjagt are right with the PAT. Man do I hate kicker. How can you ever trust em?

Before Vanderjagt missed the first kick I looked over to my son and said "wide right". I just get a bad bad feeling whenever he comes in. He swings at the ball like a golfer in a slump who knows when he really wants a nice fade he is undoubtedly going to slice the ball.

I was trying to sound like the Merriman people claiming he somehow plays harder then Ware because he has a dance and nickname.
