Ekuban had eight sacks for Cleveland last year. Shanahan gets plenty of mileage out of players other teams discard, like Jake Plummer. We're still having trouble sacking the qb 2 years after he's been gone. Maybe we're missing something on our player development, like a lot other teams who discard players and see them shine for other teams. Maybe a lot NFL teams ought to take a hard look at their programs and the way they do things.

You are right. For some reason, Denver likes our leftovers. They also took Leon Lett and Kavitka Pittman when they were pretty much done.

Tony Brackens. Jones got entranced by a trade down with Washington and drafted Pittman and Scifres (or was it Shiver, I get those two wasted picks mixed up). Washington ended up with some OT that was awful.

Jones was bitter when Jax took Brackens a few picks ahead of us and coached the entire draft room into this STUPID fake cheer when they drafted Pittman. It was then that I could no longer deny that Jones was clueless and the rest of the staff were puppets.
