I've been against him from the jump, but I am slowly coming around for some reason. I think I just want to see him plow through defensive backs.

My first instinct is usually right though...

I'm in the same boat. Don't like the lack of quicks (I prefer my RBs to move like Emmitt) but really do like this production and the thought of Henry punishing Giant defenders (how good was Jacobs against us?).

Yeah that's what I see too. He's way over the RKG.

The way things are trending now, I expect the Cowboys to bypass Elliott and take Henry. Henry's a pretty good blocker too and showed him could catch out of the backfield, which I've always thought was a nitpicky measureable for a running back.

I have questions about Henry's first step, his lack of shiftiness and being able to get out of our backfield. But behind this line, all a back may need is one cut and, boom, open field. And Henry can give you that and can plow you over when he gets a head of steam.

Not keen on Henry.

He might do well as long as our OL is healthy and playing well (as would most backs), but (fingers crossed) anything happens to the OL then he could have a hard time.

Give someone who can make things happen on his own.

What defenders has Henry punished though? I dont see him playing up to his size at all. Would be a monumental blunder.

u must be listening to the commentators online? henry would kill behind our oline, but I want Zeke.. (Pause)

No I am not listening to anyone. Watch Henry run he is big and fast sure but he has no movement he is a straight-line runner who also runs upright. When he runs he looks stiff and almost robotic not a fan at all

I've had a weird feeling all along that he would be a Panther.

Did you even watch his combine? He makes cuts just as well as most RBs.

I watched part of the combine BUT I did watch his games so there is that. Besides we all know the UNDERWEAR Olympics is the end all be all of player evaluation. Pads, air and stopwatches don't tackle. In the several games I watched he was a stiff, upright runner with very little wiggle and mostly straight line running skills.

Yeag it's looking like a Bosa and Henry 1st and 2nd.

He's show some "wiggle" in his game, watch his tape over again. But that's not his strength, his strength is power and his first cut to break through a hole. Some of you act as if we had an RB who had some shifty moves in the open field 2 years ago, we didn't. We had the same kind of RB: One cut in the back field, great vision at the line, hit hole hard, and go.

Same as Henry, and we had over 2,000 yards rushing between our RBs that year.

Murray's vision wasn't good, but Henry's is.. Henry does have a little wiggle to him especially at his size.. He's a bigger faster version of Eddie lacy.. Behind this line he would be pretty darn scary. Who's going to want to tackle a 6'3 260 pound RB?

Murray had great vision at the line, his open field vision was criticized, but no one ever had much to back up the criticism. Point still remains: Henry has enough elite qualities to consider him with our second pick. He's not a perfect RB, that's why he's a second rounder.

Id love for us to get him with our second round pick. He's a guy who would punish the defense.

My pet cat!! Yeahhh!

However the Panthers pick right before us in the top of the 1st!

How anybody cannot like this truck with our Oline is beyond me. This is the type of back we need. He's the type of back that gets you 90 by halftime and he hasn't even gotten started.

I was the same way because I've been watching tape on him. I'm starting to warm up to the fact watching him
run and thinking about him running behind our Offensive Line makes me keep thinking Smash Mouth, Ball Controlled
Offense but I'm also thinking at Pick #34 he want be there so that's another topic. I do feel strongly that we need to
come out of this Draft with Elliott or Henry to get our true Offense back. But in looking at the issues we have at DE
especially now that LOng didn't come in for a visit we may be forced to take Bosa at #4 meaning do we trade back up
into the lower 1st Round for Henry ?
