I don't know that much about him but that was my concern too. Running backs from Wisconsin and Alabama seem to struggle in the NFL. I guess we'll find out more about Lacey next year but even he had a bit of a slump this year.

Lacy got fat and out of shape for some reason.

I don't see that being an issue for Derrick Henry. He's just enormous and looks like he lives in the gym.

If we take Prescott in the third, every last member of the Cowboys staff who favored that decision should have his draft card revoked in perpetuity.

Absolutely. I don't want Dak, Cardale or any of this caliber QB in the 3rd.

He made me a believer after the combine. This would be a nice 2nd round pick and shore up the position nicely. I can picture this guy getting first downs and TDs on those kind of short yardage plays, not coming up short and getting stonewalled.

very good back who is just as good as those two if not for the knee and he would be my pick if those two are gone by the 2nd pick but i would take him with the 3rd pick if the boys think he can come back from injury

Everybody has there on style im sure people never thought lil ol Steph Curry would be the best player in the league doing what he does because its not the norm never seen it before.... Not saying Henry is Curry but yall be forgetting we do have an Elite oline and can make an argument we have 4 all pros excluding Free..... Collins is like a lil version of Larry Allen 2 to me how he jumps off the screen with his .. lil Larry.. he aint Larry but he lil Larry right now which is good and still developing

did yall see him literally carry his offense last year to a national championship along with Alabama defense but he was getting the ball and you knew he was getting the ball and you still cant stop it and he had an decent qb at Alabama... does he look like hes tired after 30th carry not to me

So put him behind this line with an Elite QB in Romo who can check into better run plays are you serious 6'2'' 247 can run and strong you think cats gonna enjoy hitting him for 4 qtrs straight? and he can carry the load............ this is his 1st year having a heavy load remember he was sharing the load his 1st 2 years so there's not a lot of millage as some of the 2nd tier running back that's been the man for 3-4 years with more overall carries than Henry...

all I know when I watched him I saw him in the 4th qtr putting the dagger to these teams hopes at the end of games and he has a really good stiff arm ask Michigan state DL

he breaks tackles in the open field not goind down so easily on 1st contact.. i'll draft him if we don't take Zeke.. wont be mad at all behind our line because although id love to get Fournette next year but how likely is that barring sooooo late 1st rd id take henry cause I don't think he's lasting to the 2nd round

And just about every single scout disagrees with you. Watch the film again, this time, open your eyes.

Henry’s long legs provide a bigger target to take out low, but he uses his mass to break tackles, punish tacklers and wear down defenses. Opponents often bring eight-man fronts against Henry, yet his gaudy numbers are fueled by a phenomenal 105.3 yards after contact per game, according to Alabama.

So, what exactly are you meaning by "physicality"? Some Beast mode-like run? Heck just watch the first two runs in this game to see his yards after contact.

Just to piggyback off MattJames post

Here is Derrick Henry against the Sooners inthe Sugarbowl a couple years back. Although Bama lost the game, many fans including myself was left wondering why inthe hell the Coaching Staff didn't utilize Henry more in the gameplan. If you remember watching this game, you could clearly see that Oklahoma didn't want any parts of tackling the kid inthe second half. When Henry eventually broke free into the second level, Henry either outran the safeties or left them flat footed thinking they about to square up to make a tackle..

One year removed from High school might I add, where the kid set the national rushing record with over 12,000+ yards. You guys can try to discredit this kid's talent if you want, but barring injury this kid is going to be special.

He's too damn big to get injured.

Watching his highlights I keep thinking "how good would this guy be running out of the I or a really any formation where the QB is under center?" Give him a yard or two to get up to speed before he hits the line, I don't think all the shotgun and pistol formations did him any favors.

It's also college, where you're not going to have an offensive line like the Cowboys.

You pair a guy like this with some scoot out of McFadden and Dunbar and he can do good things.

Plus, with guys like Dez Bryant and Jason Witten as passing threats, teams can't just load up the box and shoot all the gaps to stop the run. He would be successful behind our line.

I could easily see trading our 2nd to the Panthers 31st pick, and running him into the ground for 1700 yards for 5 years and drafting someone new.

One of the reasons I think the discussion of him going to Carolina is ridiculous.

This is not a guy that is going to excel in shotgun. He's an I-formation back, he needs to hit the hole hard, not give the defense time to get into the backfield and his knock the legs out from under him. Would be a terrible fit in Carolina, and if he's taken by them, it would tell me that franchise really hasn't changed all that much even with their Super Bowl appearance.

My only thing is, I think if we got Zeke he would be a 3-contract guy at best and a 2-contract guy at worst.

Who knows what the Cowboys are going to do, though - the draft is so much more exciting these days with the lack of leaks.

That's actually part of why I don't think the Cowboys will go in that direction, that'll end up tying up a lot of money at the RB position for many years.

Am I the only who loves Bosa and Henry as prospects? I'd be thrilled if we got both in the draft.

I would like Henry....not sure if Bosa will really be anything special. I think he will be solid as a Run Stopper
giving you 6 to 7 sacks a year but I feel at #4 we should get more than what he can offer.
