Wow. he sure is good at diving at players feet. Reminds me of Deion Sanders - what a great tackler he was.

Watch some *** idiot complain that he tackles low, ya know, what we were all taught to do our first year of youth football.

What about wrapping up? He didn't seem to do much of that either.

Just like most players in the draft. Killer talent that cannot be coached or passed up. He will be an animal in the NFL, he is a play maker who needs some coaching in the pros, just like every other player in the draft.

He will not fall to dallas unless they are lucky and then they will be stupid and pass on him.

OK curious about something here. What is so wrong about taking out a mans legs when tackling? In my opinion what better way to stop a man then to make it immpossible to run. In that whole video I saw probably two tackles i did not like the form on. I even saw him take on a lineman do a spin and still make the tackle so I dont think he actively avoids blocks but rather prefers not to be blocked. Hes got raw talent that can be, with the right coaches, turned into an amazing football player.

Because diving at players legs in this league isn't even tackling. YOU MUST WRAP UP, STAND UP.

He no longer plays youth football. He is about to be drafted into the NFL. I would have hoped he'd have picked up better technique by now.

Just the take of this here "*** idiot."

Knock the guy all you want but he's going i the top ten of the Draft and will has produced. PERIOD Judge the man by what he did not the what you didn't like about what he did. What were the results?

He was great in coverage in a conference that isn't exactly known for its passing prowess. I believe that nobody questions his coverage ability.

But if he wants to tackle that way in the NFL agains NFL calibre RBs, he is going to be in for a rude awakening.

That's like saying "Hey - Kliff Kingsbury produced everytime he dropped back. How can you judge him by other things - the guy was a winner?" Well, he sure ain't when he gets into the big leagues.

That being said - I have never said that I think DJ will be a bust. I think he has a chance to be good. But he has a lot of question marks that I think would keep ME from drafting him, especially in the top 15 or so.

Did anybody tell him that tattoos are permanent? Or that LB's can't wear #11 in the NFL?

Lol your clueless. Crown there is a BIG difference between a QB and a LB coming into the NFL number one, 99% of the GM's and Headcoaches could give a **** less that he doesnt wrap up because they are looking for "Football Players" bottom line the guy can play and thats why there are defensive specialists to teach them how to tackle.

DJ has GREAT football awareness and Superb instincts tackling will come with coaching and its one of the easiest things to work on..

I would hope that after coming from a 4 year program at a major university and being projected to go top 15, a guy would know how to wrap up and tackle. Instincts and awareness won't do you a thing if you can't tackle.
