I'm pretty leery of scheme changes like that when it comes to FA pass rushers, but yeah, he seems like a solid player. If they think he can make the transition and can be had for a contract that acknowledges the risk in switching positions, then sure.

really ???.. our top pass rusher this past season was Jeremy Mincey who had 6 sacks ..... next was Henry Melton with 5 sacks ..... who's walking ..... sounds like an upgrade to me .....

I think he is a good fit for Marinelli, even if his size isn't perfect. I would be very happy to add him. He's not a first day kind of signing though. He's a third day kind of guy,ones the big money is all doled out.

He can get pressure but he'd be an absolute non factor against the run. Probably only a part time player for us, but will get paid a lot more.

With all that said...I'd jump for joy if we signed anybody on the d line at this point so I'd take him. Beggers can't be choosers
