Fresno State senior S Derron Smith accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl.
A first-team All-Mountain West performer, Smith has posted 80 tackles, (2.5 for loss), an interception and two fumble recoveries in 2014. The 5-foot-10, 200-pound safety ranked second in the nation in 2013 with eight interceptions and is seen as one of the top senior prospects at the safety position.
