Like many post before it is obvious we will address the WR position with TG contemplating retirement. However, I don't hear much discussion about Fitz. Would we clasify him as speed WR that could strtch the field. And if so, we he be a better if than Williams? BTW, what type of speed do Fitz have?

I'd say Fitz without any doubt, I don't really like Williams, Fitz on the other hand is a great player.

Sorry... Fitz maybe the better player, but it's just a pipe dream. Arizona wouldn't let him go regardless.

R. Williams seems like he can be had for a low to mid round draft pick. I hope JJones inquires within since I think he would be a better option then any wr in the draft.

I'd prefer Fitzgerald.

But neither Roy Williams nor Larry Fitzgerald will be Cowboys next year.

I don't know how true, but during the season I heard a commentator (I thnk it was Aikman) say that because of the huge contract given toBoldin and others that it would be extremely difficult to resign Fits. Again I don't know how true. But I would never say never, JJ is forming at the mouth for a championship and I do believe he will extend his self to make that happen soon.

fitz is still under contract for 2 or 3 years, but yeah the money to keep both and be able to be competive for other areas

If Roy is so good, why is a WR hungry team trying to trade him?

They have plenty receivers. Its everywhere else they're lacking.

Fitz has a huge cap number this year, so they might be willing to unload him but it's going to cost you A LOT. I'm not really sure (if I was sitting in a big office with a rich magohany desk in Tempe with a bird on my cap, I would be eyeing Ware or Newman [maybe]) but it's going to cost you a lot.

If there's one thing the Lions are not, it's "WR hungry"...
