In thinking about it Dez helped us win it there.

He was talking to the official who was right there and didn't call it PI, the same official who went to Morelli with more info from 10 feet away and not 30 yards where the flag came from.

What ever, it isn't worth the argument. There is a line on the side lines players are supposed to be behind when not in the play.

I really wish there was more objectivity in sports and people just took it for what it is:

A) the punt call was correct under the rules of sliding under a punters landing leg

B) it was PI and we got lucky

C) Dez had his helmet off arguing with a ref in a field of play ...lucky

D) Tyron held big time on TD pass

But the Lions got away with a lot too just not magnified. I'm fine admitting all this and taking the win. God knows we've been screwed before

Refs aren't perfect. I thought they called a decent game for being a mixed crew.

I don't agree on B, but on the other examples sure. those were all true. I think C is ticky tacky in that players do that every week and it's never called, so saying lucky isn't accurate, but it can be called, no doubt. (panthers got that call in the playoffs last year)

Come on. There is always hand checking that I let slide but if you see it from angles it's obvious. Below article pic an example. I'm ecstatic we won but I'm not going to make excuses and not grin about the escape. Add this to Dez in same play and lucky. Even Church admits in article. I don't look at it as something im trying to make an argument about vs I just feel good it went our way

Nothing, just a phrase while talking. From the article posted you can see interference. Replay doesnt show him being pulled in. Again we are all fans here happy about game I just think the sequence added to Dez's bad move should make people feel lucky for once.

Yes, Dez should have been flagged, but like others have stated....the refs were in disarray there. That whole play was whack. The proper call should have been penalties on both Hitchers and Pettigrew, cancelling each other out and replaying.

We will never know if that play decided the outcome, but I do not care!
