Thanks for posting this. I imagine it wasn't easy for Dez to keep a straight face through this. His awareness is perhaps his best skill as a receiver, as shown here.

That could have been a really nice and educational video, if they weren't so lame about it.

Bryant can catch anything. I just hope we don't have to break the bank to keep him.

These are usually not this goofy. Don't know how Dez made it through that.

He's worth his pay day, but not at the expense of being unable to lock up Martin, Frederick, McClain (if he continues on this pace)

Yes he is. Dez Bryant is the most important player on this team next to Romo. And those guys don't even need contracts for another couple years anyway.

I think he's certainly one of the best players on the team, but I would still rather use the money towards building a more complete defense. The Seahawks, Giants, Steelers all proved that you don't need a superstar WR to win a championship.

However, you absolutely need a defense and a strong running game.

It's not about the position, it's about signing your franchise players. Dez could be a cornerback and I would say the same thing.

First of all a contract for Dez won't stop this team for spending on defense. Last year we had huge investments on the defensive side of the ball. How did that work out?

Next this stupid myth that superbowl teams don't need excellent WR play just falls flat. The seahawks paid dearly to bring in Percy. They won the superbowl with Percy having a material impact. Giants had Plax making big plays and the Steelers had Hines in the midst of a hall of fame career during their decades of dominance.

WRs get paid big money because they impact the game. Don't be fooled.

Yep.... Go back and look at the true dynasties in the history of the league.... They all had bona fide WRs

Of course you need good WR play to be successful, I never said that it wasn't crucial.

However, I am saying that you don't need a Dez Bryant, Megatron, Andre Johnson, etc . in order to have success.

The guys you mentioned: Plaxico, Ward, Harvin, and I'll include Boldin for the Ravens as well - these guys are all great players but were never the top receivers in the league. I'm just saying that if Dez wants a contract that will inhibit the team from adding more pieces, then I'd honestly rather pass.

I'd rather have an Anquan Boldin and 2 Terrance Williams calibur receivers than one Dez Bryant.

I wouldn't, Dez makes WRs better just by coverage alone. Look at Golden Tate now

Some of you may have seen this but, in the interest for those who haven't, it's pretty comical and intriguing.
I think they said 1 second was equivalent to a fast draw, but the record for that is 0.208 seconds (1/5 of a second).

The worst thing you can do is miscast a number 2 as a number 1. That means the other team's number 1 corner doesn't need as much extra help. That means the other team's lbs and safeties can be closer to the Los. It mucks up everything.

You may not need a Dez (thank God we have him) but you need a true number 1. And he's the only one on the roster.

Man, that was great stuff with Dez................................why did they make it so stupid though?

And I am paying Dez whatever he wants, even if I have to forgo spending some place else. You don't let the best WR in the NFL just walk out the door.

Re-watch it. That's not what they said. From 5 yards out, he had .415 (4 tenths of a second) to react and catch the ball. His last catch was 2 tenths of a second. Which is equal to the record fast draw.
