I haven't gotten to see the replay outside of the initial ones, but on that Dez fumble I'm 99.99999999999% positive that the Giants player who chased the ball down and knocked it an extra 7 yards back or so actually stepped out of bounds in his pursuit and was the first player to touch the ball. Isn't that illegal touching? Or is that only for the offense?

I THINK that as long as he re-establishes himself back on the field, it is okay. But if someone disagrees, maybe they can explain.

He was out of bounds when he touched it actually (multiple times), meaning the ball should have been dead. Dallas could have reviewed it and advanced the ball forward 9 yards from the actual spot for 3rd and 21 vs 3rd and 30.

Yes, I saw it to when it happened and was almost positive one of his feet was out of bounds when he touched the ball and knocked it 7 yards further back. The replays made me almost certain but no one noticed it.

Yep. Probably wouldn't have made any difference, but a missed call nonetheless.
