Lions game, second eagles game, green bay game. All late 4th quater tds to put us in the lead for the win. How much more of a clutch WR can you get? I would never trade this guy regardless of what we could get in return. Future HOF if he can stay injury free. The man has put the off field stuff behind him and I can't wait to see another 100 Xs thrown up

Yep, the kid is a beast. I always like his chances on a one on one situation with the ball in the air. He has a gift for making the play with someone drooped all over him.

Hopefully we can shore up the D a bit this season and run the ball more late in games to hold these leads.

The Lions Game and the Packers game were two of the worst losses I have witnessed in watching this team since the 1977 Super Bowl. Ripped my heart out. I am sure there are others that feel the same way.

Every season the Cowboys lose games that should have been wins because they're a mediocre team that has a defense with more holes than Bonnie and Clyde's death car. What should have been a win vs the Lions in week 8 last season turned into a loss because the Cowboys find ways to lose games even to other mediocre teams. What should have been a win vs Green Bay 7 weeks later turned into an embarrassing loss at home even though the Packers were being led by a journeymen QB because the Cowboys are what they are a mediocre team. When you root for a team that loses as often as the Cowboys all FANS have is what should have been to hang their hats on.

Absolutely. Same applies for the QB that threw him the ball right? That D has come up small in big moments so much more often than the offense over the years. Up by 12 with 5 minutes left in a huge game against the vagianst in '11 and the defense gives up 14 points in a matter of a few minutes. It's amazing that we were 8-7 (with Romo) with such a horrific defense last season. I love Dez. His back needs to hold up and he needs to cut down on his drops, but he's an absolute beast.

I'm a huge Dez fan, but using "should-have" as a stat to measure his clutchness is beyond lame. He is clutch though.

I know statistically he had the most targets in his career, but it didnt translate. Dez disappeared for long stretches at a time last year. Which I attribute to play design/calling, and romo not letting it fly as much as he should've. He needs 6-8 catches per game. Open up the vertical passing game and get him the ball down the field. Dallas didnt do enough of that last year.

He's our most dangerous, and best player on the roster. He is the reason, we have a fighting chance. Without him, we look like the Jets of last year on offense.

If I had a dime for every-time that phrase was uttered about a up-and-coming Cowboys player here on CZ...

In this instance, it's probably more true than the others. We have a rare talent/passion combo that we have not had in decades

No. What's he's saying is very legit. He should have had 1-3 game winning TDs. It's not the offenses fault nor Dez's that the D was so bad. Not sure how someone can't understand that.

Oh, I must have misread. I thought he was saying something like Dez had 3 dropped passes that could have resulted in winning the game, and then he went on to say how great Dez was. I was kinda confused.
