Some fan said I love how loyal you are to the Cowboys and the thread title was his response. He also added that it's business. This things getting annoying and I feel will lead to a hold out or he'll miss a lot of off-season stuff. I'm his biggest supporter and want him to get paid, but he is going to clearly be PISSED if he gets tagged. Last thing we need is our best player being pissed. I'm not saying give him Calvin money but give this man his money. We need him more then he needs us, 100%

I think my love for him as a player blinds me from how from immature a man he is. Why would you put that on twitter? A cry for attention?

I'd be pretty upset if I were him as well. He's given a lot to the Cowboys. I wouldn't tweet or anything like that. At the end of the day. He's earned a big pay day. Jerry would be very very dumb to let this guy go

So Stephen speaks this am and says the franchise tag is an option...

This afternoon, Dez responds to couple of folks on twitter that he's not happy about it.

But Dez's response is a cry for attention? Lol

His and the Cowboys responses are the same as they were during the season when the topic was first broached. At least they're consistent in these things we call NEGOTIATION.

It just bugs me he took to twitter. As if the media needed a reason to create a riff in Dallas. Yeah he has earned a big pay day but disrespecting your employer on Social Media may not be the best way to go about it.

Sorry guys. This has been a public matter since all the stuff about Dez's off-field "issues" was made available to the media by team "sources". Negotiations are never pretty.

So where should he have addressed it? Called a PC and hold a media session like Stephen?

How does he say the Cowboys arent loyal to him? He had and top 5 talent and just kept falling until Jerry accepted his baggage and took him. All the boneheaded decisions he has made and still the Cowboys supported him. I'm sure we are offering him a big contract and he questions loyalty? Come on.. he is probably asking for Calvin money.

Has the team not given him alot too? They backed him when he was too busy blowing it off the field. If they wouldnt have backed him he wouldve bee suspended by the league by now by his actions off the field.
