Yeah the Negative Dez chatter has really quieted, and never should have been considering he had injuries, and no QB, and then a new QB and then another injury....It was all silly talk.

Dez is an exceptional WR. Any talk otherwise was always stupid. Unless you frequently watch teams without a WR of Dez's caliber, you may not appreciate him. But he can make any and every catch and is downright ferocious after the catch. Let's not take him for granted.

I'm glad someone else noticed his speed.

He definitely looks faster than what he was in 2014.

I feel like his speed suffered in 2013 after the back injury and hadn't been the same since.

DEz is playing great. And even though he does not have these monster games other WR's put up. This is working. And soon one of these defenses will go to sleep on him a little, because he is not putting up monster games. and he will explode.
He is having very good games and getting some production, and that is working, so all are happy as to it produces wins.

I'm not really sure what more he can do. He's finally maximizing his opportunities on a consistent basis.

Dak threw a total of 18 passes last night. Dez caught 1/3 of Dak's completions and was responsible for 60% of the team's receiving yards.

He is playing within the scheme of the offense, and I love it.

With Dez getting it going this is a very good receiving corps, I think. Could use an upgrade over Williams, but he's serviceable, and then you have nice and varied options in Beasley, Witten, Butler etc. I am not spending a high pick on a receiver in the off season.

Agreed, he looks like he is hitting a new type of stride. I think him not having to be the focal weapon the offense needs to be successful has done wonders for him. The dynamic he bringing now is much different, IMO, than previous years and has removed a lot of pressure that was previously on his shoulders

The thing with Dez is that he always seems to get tackled rather awkwardly. I saw it a couple times again last night where his legs kind of get tangled up as he's going down.

How on earth could anyone ever call Dez soft? Of all the criticisms of him...soft?!?! People who say that are on their couch and have soft stomachs full of cheetos

Funny what being healthy does for a player especially 1 who had a broken foot and a fracture in his knee. I would think those 2 injuries robbed him of his speed and power, and that is why he didn't look good.
