Dez is the biggest scapegoat I have ever seen in pro sports

no one blames him for the loss yesterday

his action (in walking off the field) is still not excusable

actions have consequences, radical thought i know

Dez needs to learn to behave like a pro, 'emotion' is not an excuse

so, the other players were not emotional?

I think he needed to use better tact in the face of adversity. But, I'm not sure what the consequences should be. Sit him for a game? I hope not.

It was a lack of acting maturely about the situation, but the punishment should fit the crime. And the media discussing this ad nauseam is being done to get ratings, not to tell the truth about why this team is so dysfunctional and underwhelming.

The biggest scapegoat in the league is Tony....

Saying "tony threw two consecutive picks," even though the second one was on Beasley, supports that.

I agree with you
I wish we had a real HC and GM, where I would say, let's keep it inhouse

The Media is making it a bigger story than it deserves. There are a whole lot more people in this organization that deserves to be on the hot seat besides Dez.

The defense allows a touchdown on every drive

Demarcus Ware is contributing nothing

Tony Romo threw 2 consecutive picks

Jason Garrett managed the game like a 4 year old fresh off of a dental procedure

And yet I turn on the TV and hear about Dez.. I log on to this forum and see about 6 threads about Dez on the first page.. It is absolutely crazy to me.. Dez walked off the field I'm guessing because he was about to have an emotional outburst that he was crucified for a few weeks earlier in Detroit.. Has no one around here ever seen a guy who cared about winning or losing? This is a guy who probably loses sleep over losses.. Not saying guys like Witten and Lee don't but not everyone is Witten and Lee.

Just a side note if Romo threw a better deep ball yesterday Dez would have had about 250 yards and 3 TDs

Dez is far from perfect and I have issues with some of his actions too but I find myself constantly trying to defend him due to how unfair the narrative on him seems to be

Guess you havent paying attention to the blame Romo Garret Callahan and jerry are taking huh

Andre Johnson walked off the field earlier this season vs Oakland with 58 seconds left. Where was the outcry from all the talking heads about Johnson. I've heard people actually say bryant should be suspended for the final two games.

They really made a big deal about it on NFL AM & Michael Wilbon made it seem like Dez spit in Romo's face, i said before that he shouldn't have walked off the field but at the same time i understand his disgust at that point. Corby Davidson is going after every Romo hater on the ticket and Ben & Skin were doing their best to cover up Romo's blunders.

How was Dez being scapegoated? No one blamed him for the loss. He should have remained on the sideline though, regardless of how mad/sad he was. You Win as a team & you Suffer as a team.

Andre Johnson also got into a tiff with Schaub and others and it wasn't talked about much.

It's disgusting the way Bryant is treated by the media. But he also brings it on himself a bit.

He also got into a fight with Finnergan and was applauded for beating him up by the media. If Dez fights On the field it'll be the leading story on Sportcenter.

I understand why he was so upset and left the game.

A pro stays and deals with it.

I have been in plenty of meetings over the years where I felt like there is no reason for me to be here.
It sucks and is frustrating, and often annoying and repetitive.
You suck it up until it's over and move forward, you might even gain some insight to the mishaps or situation to help grow and prosper from the extra time involved.

It is not time wasted, it is time to further educate yourself and grow.

And he is my favorite Cowboy player, I was bummed that the Cowboys got him.

Tom Brady has acted like a complete *** yelling at players, Refs and basically said both teams played hard for two questions and walked off the podium yesterday and he gets no backlash.

Ummmm.... and ?

Tom Brady can do that.
Tom Brady is one of the best to play the game (meaning at least top 20 at his position).

If there was one player who had nothing to do with that loss it was Dez. That TD catch was ridiculous and he is tenacious in run blocking for WR. He still needs to bring it down a notch with after the play activity but Dez should be applauded for that performance. This loss was on defense, Garrett & Romo.

Someone should tell Billick to ****, he sold himself as an offensive guru and the Ravens were one of the worst offenses in the league under his watch.

Well you can't have an emotional outburst on the sidelines either.

And if you don't show any emotion you get ridiculed for not caring.

So... pick your poison, right?

It's really a no win situation for Bryant because the media will spin regardless.

You learn to control your emotions and stay on the field until the game is finished. It's not an either/or situation.
