Dez is the biggest scapegoat I have ever seen in pro sports

The point is, the guy is villified, and regardless of what he does someone is going to have a problem with it.

Leaves early: Media says he quit, is immature, etc
Sideline emotion: Media says he is immature, gave up hope
Did nothing: Media would say he was content with his performance and is a me player/ we would say he's given up

Just my opinion, but I don't think it matters what Dez does. We've seen the media twist his words, flat out lie about his actions, and fabricate a villain thus far. I don't know if that will change until the Cowboys actually win.

Well, there is a word called "reputation." If you don't want people to think bad of you, don't develop a reputation for them to think bad of you because you've done bad things. And that can apply to "immature," "selfish" or whatever word applies.

Someone should tell Billick to ****, he sold himself as an offensive guru and the Ravens were one of the worst offenses in the league under his watch.

So now it's the "let's criticize the credentials of Dez's critic because he dares to criticize Dez" game. LOL!

Andre Johnson walked off the field earlier this season vs Oakland with 58 seconds left. Where was the outcry from all the talking heads about Johnson. I've heard people actually say bryant should be suspended for the final two games.

Andre Johnson has played in this league for 10 years. His reputation is not the same as Dez's. His team doesn't have the reputation that the Cowboys have. Why would people react the same to an impetuous kid as they would to a season veteran?

Besides, what Johnson did wasn't professional either.

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins9m
Warren Sapp on Dez: “The inmates cannot run the asylum. It’s just that simple. No matter how bad, how big he is, you must bring him back."

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins7m
Steve Mariucci on Dez Bryant: "Is this an issue? Yes it is an issue. We’ve all have had times where we wanted to cry on the sidelines."

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins4m
LaDainian Tomlinson: “He hurts his team again and does something that is unspeakable, walking off the field before the game is over."

I'm so sick of this being an issue! Who cares what former players and coaches think!

A quote from SBNation
Johnson, who is regarded as one of the nicer and more level-headed players in the NFL, did the smart thing by walking away instead of adding fuel to the fire.

and I am sure there are more saying the same about Johnson if anything at all.

When it's Dez though, you got the media doing nothing but calling him out. Ridiculous.

The defense allows a touchdown on every drive

Demarcus Ware is contributing nothing

Tony Romo threw 2 consecutive picks

Jason Garrett managed the game like a 4 year old fresh off of a dental procedure

And yet I turn on the TV and hear about Dez.. I log on to this forum and see about 6 threads about Dez on the first page.. It is absolutely crazy to me.. Dez walked off the field I'm guessing because he was about to have an emotional outburst that he was crucified for a few weeks earlier in Detroit.. Has no one around here ever seen a guy who cared about winning or losing? This is a guy who probably loses sleep over losses.. Not saying guys like Witten and Lee don't but not everyone is Witten and Lee.

Just a side note if Romo threw a better deep ball yesterday Dez would have had about 250 yards and 3 TDs

Dez is far from perfect and I have issues with some of his actions too but I find myself constantly trying to defend him due to how unfair the narrative on him seems to be

If we had 20-22 guys with the heart and passion of DEZ BRYANT, we'd win the Superbowl going away!!!
