“I got a good little cheap shot in,” Wilcox said. “That’s the spark you need. I am trying to feed off it and get my defense right.”

Bryant’s view?

“J.J. put a nice hit on me,” the receiver said. “He pissed me off, but at the end of the day, I loved it. I told him, ‘Keep it coming.’ Hopefully the rest of the guys on that defense – not only the defense, but the offense and the whole team – feed off of that. That’s what it takes to win. That’s what we need to win. You’ve got to have that passion and that love for the game.”

Good stuff right there! Love that he didn't back down from Dez and I loved the leadership Dez has displayed. Have him a thumbs up and talked him up. There is great growth from both these guys

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant on why he always talks trash: "I want the best. I want your best. It’s all about, don’t accept defeat."

Bro, I loved reading this from Dez. He is truly the best player on this team, and might go down fighting with Mike as the most passionate Cowboy Ever.

As Mike says my SON!

If Dez doesn't fire you up then you are in the wrong team! If as a fan he doesn't fire you up, you better go root for another team or watch a different sport. He pumps me up

changing of the guard, there's a few big names we've had on defense the last 10 years who would have never did this

I like the attitude change. If anything I think it was the one thing that's been missing on this team the last 7-8 years. I believe confidence and attitude can cover up some of the problem areas and will make them mentally tough in Dec/Jan

We need our safeties to be enforcers. This is something that we definitely missed for awhile. Definitely one of my favorite plays of the scrimmage.

I was also impressed with Holloman. He made up a lot of ground on a deep pass. I was really impressed with that. Think he needs to play nickel and dime linebacker for us definitely!

I wish they would just let this guy push Carter for the starting spot. I just get the feeling Carter lacks confidence. You got a guy like Holloman who I think compliments a guy like McClain. Dude is all over the field and he can recognize plays very quickly which is another thing that Carter has struggled with. Just get the best 11 out there. Unfortunately I see Carter as a major bust for this club, and I had high hopes for him
