So why would it be shocking that Dez only ranks 20th in receiving yardage? What was his ranking last year at this time? And the year before that?

Or do shockingly low numbers only apply to Cowboys players?

Dez had the 2nd most yards receiving in the NFL over the last 8 games of the season last year. I guess I was hopeful that he would be able to maintain that pace.

I'm really not complaining -- if he ends up with 16 TDs that would be incredible -- irregardless of what his yardage ends up being.

And over the first eight games, people were ready to trade him. It's six games into the season, and Dez has had a couple low yardage performances due to the attention he receives.

Yards are cause he's bein doubled just wait when the defenses choose too double someone else, cause they'll have too start doing that too Beasley, and Williams very soon, Witten will be one on one and also Dez, it should be getting better, the catches he's been getting have been good catches with the man up on him

Some people are expecting him to already be Irvin or Rice. He is not and may never be but he has that natural athletic ability to be one of the best ever. My only gripe is his ability to disappear at times then to turn around completely take over a game the following week. Of course, Calvin, Andre and Fitz do the exact same :) A little more consistency would be great.

He is 25 years old, he hasn't even reached his prime. He hasn't mastered routes, reading defenses or beating double teams........yet. There are many factors involved with Dez not totally dominating the NFL and it starts with this offensive scheme, it is not designed to maximize his potential.

Imagine Dez on NE, NO or Denver, he would be the best receiver in the game today and Megatron would be looking up to him IMO.

Dallas doesn't have to force Bryant the ball. If they had to he could easily lead the league in yards. I think most people here would be happier with 1100-1300 16-18 TDs compared to 1600-1800 yards with 5-10 TDs

We're six games in. Maybe we shouldn't worry so much about what his stats might be until we get closer to the end of the year. That's just me though.

All that means is Romo is finding the open guy at the right time.

Not forcing it to a player.

What is Austin on pace for ? Some here think he is a secondary #1 .

BTW - Nice win with the battered defense especially. Commanders first half killed them...and the special teams.
Congrats Cowboys fans.
