I heard on Sirius NFL that Dak targeted Dez 14 times in the Philly game. He only caught 3 or 4. The 10 or 11 misses really hold back this offense. I'm not saying don't throw it to Dez, but I am saying quit forcing it to him down the field. The offense looked anemic for much of the game, which hasn't been the case since the Giants game.

The Sirius commentators (Kirwin-IIRC) that a coach is probably going to have to have a talk with Dez about pestering Dak for the ball. It doesn't serve Dak well. Dak will probably also have to learn to tune Dez out, and only throw to him when he is open. That's not every play Dez says he is open.

I will also add that with 14 targets Dez should be having A.J. Green type of numbers to warrant that many targets.

If Dak wasn't awful, Dez would have had probably 200 yds plus. The problem wasn't going to Dez, it was throwing awful passes to Dez.

It's a chemistry thing. They will get it together. I bagged on Dez during the game. But it wasn't his fault. He was open Alot and made the corners look silly. My problem is Beasley needs to be on the field Alot more than he was in the Philly game

Had Dak been more on target, several of those misses would not have been missed.

This is going to end up being a case of the coverage dictating where the ball should have gone, and the QB missing on some of the throws, but it's going to end up being a big debate over whether or not the rookie QB feels compelled to throw it to Dez to keep him happy.

Although we already know from week 1 how Dak feels about being compelled to force balls to Dez Bryant. He doesn't.

We'll play a lesser defense this week, and we'll see the ball distribution go back to what it predominantly has been all season.

Look at this negative slant towards Dez.... I guess Dez needs a talking to because he is "pestering" Dak for the ball.

This is the same type of crap the philly fans are doing turning on their WR's and TE's when its Wentzypoo that is throwing the 3 yard passes.

Dak was off this game, he will come back. The throws to Dez were not forced, I hate to say it but they were throws that Romo would make. Do I think Romo needs to replace Dak? Not at this time.

This is where numbers lie. Dak had a NUMBER of underthrown and overthrown passes. Dak was horribly inaccurate for 3 quarters worth of play and NO ONE else on this roster would have tied the game up with that catch he made in double coverage

That's true, but the passes he threw in this game are not the same type of passes he has been throwing in prior games. I believe there is a correlation between the two, or at least an inference of the same.

If you don't think Dez is asking for the ball, you my friend, are naive. I'm sure Dez would be the first one to tell you that.

It's almost as if you didn't watch the game. Dak throws were downright terrible. Dez would've had 200+ yards and 2+ TD's easily if Dak gave him some better passes.

It's just the lack of connection between Dez and Dak which is understandable considering they've only played like 3 games with each other. It will get there and when that happens this offense will be unstoppable. It's this simple, Dez is beast and you give your best offensive player maker the ball.

Lazy journalism... Several of the passes to Dez were Dak just getting rid of the ball because of pressure.
This is the truth.
Dak was being pressured and didn't have the clean pocket he is used to.
Dak threw the ball to Dez because Dez is the guy who can catch a ball even when well covered.

I don't think it was so much trying to keep Dez happy as it was the fact Dez was getting the single and like most QB when they get that 1 on 1 with the teams top WR they are going to go that way. Dak was off no question about it but never felt he was forcing it to Dez. He did force one to Williams that could have been picked and forced one to Brice Butler in the endzone that was picked
