That’s exactly why I don’t want him going to the Giants. Romo excelled with Dez by throwing the jump ball and Eli excelled with Plaxico doung the same thing. The Giants haven’t had a tall red zone receiver since Plaxico (minus Marshall bt that was for a few games and Dez is better). If Eli and Dez hook up, I don’t see our secondary shutting them down like the dreamers here like to think. Hopefully they don’t get Dez and hopefully their O line still sucks otherwise we’ll be in for a fight.

The Cowboys weren’t wrong to cut Dez no matter what he does in the NFL going forward. For us he was a distraction. He didn’t work on getting better. Honestly, the only reason I would turn down the Ravens is if I had no intention of staying in the league long term. Just get a one year deal to stay afloat and plan your exit. If he's planning to stay longer and doing this to spite, then yeah, he's being stupid.

Dez just learned that team options are not good for a vet

It is better to go year to year than get stuck on a 3 year team favored phony deal
