Dez Update if interested

UNDERSTAND WHAT THE GM GETTLEMAN IS ALL ABOUT. He does not believe in having high profile receivers.Which is why I think OBJ will be jettisoned soon. Remember Josh Norman when gettleman was the GM in Carolina? lol...he acted like a spoiled brat and a diva..so he promptly got traded. Gettleman is a trenches guy.Thats how he builds teams. Dez screwed up and miscalculated. Giants wont sign him.

Is it a QB problem though and not a young qb / inconsistent protection / intermittently available rb / soft defense / maniac wr / goofy coach,gm / problem? You can't just throw everything at Dak's feet even though he'd probably accept the blame like a team leader should.

If true, he is a D-U-M-M-Y. What if the Giants take a WR in the draft and what if the other teams interested in him also draft a WR? He would be playing with fire.
 
gettleman wont saddle Shurmur..a new HC with Dez...you can book it. Why would he do that when they are prolly trying to explore trade options for OBJ? The last thing they want is 2 headaches!
 
So Dez is waiting for the Giants to give him an offer so he can stick it to the Dallas Cowboys two times next season?
On top of that, the Giants know this so they can completely dictate terms?
Also, the Giants have still not signed Dez, which means they are waiting until after the draft to even see if they even want to sign him?

It sounds like Dez is just sticking it to himself. Hope he rethinks it.

so he's going to have a declining qb get him to help beat a younger team while on a team where he is definately the #2 WR.

His life/money/career, but signing there is purely to try and spite us.
 
Giants would be smart to make Dez wait because the price will continue to drop

it just shows Dez's immaturity....if his focus is just wanting cowboys to pay for cutting him and Giants dont even want him..it is actually sad...although if he did somehow get on Giants and we had to face him at least twice a year it could get very ugly for cowboys....deep down i am praying no NFC east team takes him...cowboys did do him wrong waiting so long ...

yeah..that never works out well. Dez fails to realize this is a production based business. Shows how his mind works. His IQ is lacking.

lol..yup...the new HC would be gone by years end. BA BYE to Fritz. That's why I don't see this happening. It would be unfair to the new HC.

I’m a Dez fan but this is pretty childish of him if true. Make a mature and wise decision as it pertains to the longevity of your career. Put the Cowboys in your rear view mirror just as they have done to you.

If true, this shows me he has no one in his corner or representation who truly has his ear to make sound decisions.

The more talented the player, the longer leash they get. That’s a fact of life in the NFL.
