Dez Update if interested

I hope he does see us twice a year. He'll be so keyed up for those Dallas games he'll be dropping balls and jawing at the Giant coaches on the sideline............. it will be priceless.

My thoughts exactly. The Cowboys are already in his head. That's already an advantage for the Cowboys.

He was fired. And it felt personal to him. He's not the first player and he won't be the last player to find motivation in wanting to show the group that fired you they were wrong.

Fans who are bothered by this are as immature as they claim Dez is being.
You seem to be the one all worked up about it - lol.

A lot of people on this site say they've heard this or that from a source. I will give my source, she is the cousin of Sterling Shepherd for the Giants and is also the girlfriend of one of Dez's bodyguards. https://www.lmggalleries.com/erikafree/

Dez is turning down opportunities in hopes of signing with the Giants period. He is wanting to get back at the Cowboys.
well i can certainly believe this and Dez is being a bonehead as usual letting his emotions get in the way of simply signing and putting his head down and prove he can play, not prove he shouldn't have been cut to get back at the cowbys..dez and his agents aren't treating this as business, they are holding out on hope for revenge..just shows where hes at with his mind..

IF he has really turned down opportunities because he wants revenge and to sign with NY, then it is a stupid reasoning on his part.
Not saying your source is not right, but it is their opinion.

And I think Dez's agents would not go along with this approach. Or else they may move on from him as well.
JMO of course.

For all we know, the Giants have told his agents they have interest in him, just not until after the draft. A lot more goes on in the background than we or even Shepherd's cousin are privvy to.

He's acting like a ditched boyfriend trying to get back at her by chasing after her hated rival.

That's just ridiculous on his part, at this point you take the opportunities given. He's not in a situation where he can dictate where he goes.
He won't end up in NY

Just being silly, one would think he'd try and go to a team he thinks can win and not based solely on playing the boys twice

According to Derrick Rose, he had plenty of offers after Cleveland traded him and he Utah released him. But he was waiting and buying his time..

I will honestly say that I doubted her at first. However everything she's told me has checked out (from Dez working out with with players to his current girlfriend being pregnant etc). The day Dez was cut, she told me the day before that if he was cut, he would want to play in the NFC East. I inboxed that message to Shan Shariff on twitter but he was afraid (which I don't blame him), to put it on air. Within minutes of Dez being cut, Mike Fisher made the same claim. Shariff inboxed me back and was like, "damn she was right." Like I said you guys, take it for what it's worth.

sounds like good intel
Dez is being stupid, he'll end up taking what he can get. Hopefully we'll see where he lands Next week

Moss had no choice where he was drafted.. in free agency you have your choices..
But do you at least see the difference? I know there is very little Dez can do in this world that you wouldn’t defend him for, but there is a big difference between being motivated to play agiant your team and doing everything in your power just to play agianst your own team; rejecting job offers included.

I don’t care if you agree with him or not, the Randy Moss comparison doesn’t apply.

Of course I see the difference, but apparently you sont see the difference between drafting and FA as respect to a player’s choice to try and liken the two..

Players have multiple reasons for choosing a particular destination, including motivation to destroy their previous team. None of this precludes that he’s going to take a serious pay-cut..
