Dez will go off

The only time I saw Dez not being doubled was on the long pass downfield. If he's getting doubled, then why aren't the other wrs catching the ball? The Raiders decided that they were going to take him out of the game and the Cowboys coaching staff was perfectly fine with that because they really didn't move him around nor run any crossing routes. Being fine with him being doubled is not necessarily a bad thing because that should open other things.

To me Dez plays hard about 50 percent of the time. Really seems to take plays off and when he takes plays off it really shows up on replays. If he knows he isn't the primary receiver on the play call he coasts. Could be wrong, but you sure see a lot of plays were he is running at half speed. PS. His alligator arms on the first Dak INT said a lot.

Alligator arms heck he just quit on the route

Get the ball to Dez and we score points.

PI to set up 1st and goal at the 1. Long gain that set up the second TD on 1st and 20. Long completion that set up the go ahead score.

My reaction this thread statement, then the same old actual outcome.

Those were not Alligator arms. Dez sat in the spot he should have and Dak threw him into a defender. Somehow people expect some superhuman ability to reverse your change of motion in a heartbeat.

When Dez is focused, he's still a threat. When Dez is half speeding it, he's worthless. Unfortunately, we usually get both in any given game.

You have a receiver who knows he is not seeing the ball on certain coverages because Dak is not throwing it that way. That is what you see. This is on Dak, not Dez.

I don’t think those two ever jive together. Dez’s core game is catching up for grab passes and over the shoulder passes that he out mans the guy who’s covering him on. Dak doesn’t like to throw into those type of plays. Granted they could sit around and work on it, but I doubt it will happen. Even if the offense was clicking on all levels, I doubt dez is used to his full potential.

Dude Dez is supposed to run full speed right into the LB that looks like a DE, what’s wong with you?

BS. Whether Dez thinks he is getting the ball or not, he has to run full speed. No excuse for not running his routes full speed.
The only ones I see him loaf on are the ones with safety over the top in a typical cover 2 where Dak is not throwing the ball in the gap ever.
