Well that was interesting. Great talent and a pain. This is a narcissistic personality disorder on display. But he will make the HOF.

Fantastic WR whose chronic diarrhea mouth caused him to be a questionable teammate. Happy B-Day TO!

these posts knocking dez for recognizing TO are ridiculous

next, if he does this on Michael Irvin's birthday, does that make Dez a coke-head? What if he recognized Hollywood Henderson? Deion? What about (insert other controversial player here)?

WHO CARES what he does when he clicks a few buttons on his smart phone...my God people, don't read in to EVERYTHING!!!

The next time I wish one of my FB friends a happy birthday, I will have to be sure to first check their psychological and punitive histories to ensure I don't align myself with anything that may have happened outside of the scope of our friendship... Silliness.

I don't think this is a reflection on Dez, at all. It's just more badwill for TO, who deserves all the bad will from Cowboys fans that he gets.

Please post more often. You balance things out. ;)

People just reach as far as they can to degrade Dez, it drives me crazy. I come from a broken home and I admire people like Dez who have become successful after being brought up in not so great situations.

Am I mistaken? But didn't #81 bash Tony Romo and our head coach?

It depends how you classify receivers. If you are talking about it in terms of contributions to the franchise then no TO is not a top five receiver in Dallas Cowboy history.

However in terms of production throughout his career he is probably a top 5 WR all time. He's one of the best receivers ever to wear the star in the same way Brett Farve is one of the best Quarterbacks to play for the Vikings.

TO.... Hmmmm, I'm not sure how to feel about this. Respect for talent, OK. Who the hell knows what was going on between this guy's ears (Including a pseudo-OD)? Every team he plays for lets him go (Most importantly IMHO the 49ers)? Dez sends out respect for him, OK. I hope he knows exactly what he is sending out respect for, because I don't know what Dez is thinking.

Top 5 receiver on the Cowboys .... don't even go there. Intangibles can't be damned in that sentiment.

TO = jerry jones with less power

egotistical
narcissistic
wants the team to win BUT it has to be because of him
has to be the center of attention
disruptive to the team

never wanted dallas to get TO (full disclosure)

For all of the people that wanted a passionate team, they complained about T.O .

I enjoyed him very much. I also enjoy having a cocky WR that isn't afraid to make his presence known. It sure made me feel like they were going to war when T.O was lined up on the field.

Then again I rue the days of TD celebrations where Chad Johnson, T.O, and Steve Smith were all going at it.

I agree with this. Despite how the season ended, that 2007 Cowboys team had a swagger to them. Crayton ran his mouth too much, but we certaintly backed it up. I remember winning the majority of our games by at least two possessions that year. Romo threw for 36 TD's, 15 of them to Owens.

Think it was vs Washington where Romo and Owens hooked up for 4 TD's. Then later that night, Moss and Brady did the same thing.
