Everybody needs to drop the Dick Lebeau watch, the Dom Capers watch,or any other big name defensive coordinator,as long as Bill Parcells remains here.First of all,he isn't about to bring in some hotshot coordinator to turn it around and take credit away from him like Bellichek did.No really good coordinator would want to come here and not be able to fully run their system without Parcells interfering, and who wants to come here and work for a 1 year lame duck coach, and not really know what your future is.juckie;1305263 said:word is if Whisenhunt stays,he stay,If whisenhunt leaves he pursues other DC job.Let us pray.He leaves. But I am thinking he is staying.

its either in DMN or FWST, but they said teams sources said if Zimmer had left last yr that Bowles was gonna get the DC job...a few weeks ago I think Prisco had some blurb about Parcells wanting Bowles to be the DC
its probably gonna be Bowles if Parcells is back
and who knows...maybe he'll be good...then again

Smart money would say if you are trying to do this, you should already have gauged the water by talking to Cowher. See if he was interested, prime the pump, etc. If we did get Lebeau it would be a serious telltale though. And even Parcells must realize that he is not long for Cowboys. Better to get someone competant in there even if it does steal a little of your thunder. Maybe....

It is interesting he is a chum of Bob Knight, but that's not an indication that the two could work together.
