The worst part is not that the trainer touched Woods but that Woods would have received a penalty and possible ejection if he responded physically.

Imagine a team having a designated staff member whose goal is to incite an opposing player into a penalty. It is an improbably, extreme example that is not likely to happen, but still possible. This specific incident is minor, but because there is potential for something bigger happening is why I think the trainer should be punished by the league. There was/is no need for his actions.

Trainer extended the arms, definitely OPI. Garrett should have challenged it, fire him.

You've got to admit though, a Patriots player rushing out onto the field and shoving a ref during an Eagles & Cowboys game should get a longer suspension.

"There is no foul on the play, the Patriots employee was only on the field to spy on Dallas and Philly. Reset the Clock to 11:40. Second Down"

When the trainer started rushing out, Jeffrey was still on the ground. However, his teammate had started to help him up by the time the trainer reached Woods. I think it was a quick reaction thing: Big hit, the player doesn't immediately pop up and trainer rushes out to check on him.
If you watch closer he actually starts to get up on his own before his teammate comes over and helps him up. The staff member is yards away from Woods when the receiver is starting to sit up. Doesn't matter if the receiver isn't moving or not, the staff member has no excuse to put his hands on another player much less from the other team.

And then Zeke catches a 6-game suspension.

Honestly, I was going to give the staff member the benefit of the doubt thinking we were just pouring it on the Eagles... but it appears the staff member didn't even walk thru the same path Woods was in. Looks like he just randomly reached to his right and shoved him in the shoulder. Was definitely random.
