Did any one notice Collinsworth talking about how great Dak is?

Well...

All color analysts do not talk up their subjects the same way. Take Cris Collinsworth's main peers at CBS (Tony Romo), ESPN (Troy Aikman), Fox (Tom Brady), and Prime Video (Kirk Herbstreit).

Romo will say something glib about someone, but will not usually carry it over a down or two. Aikman's comments are usually dry, tactful and brief. So far, Brady has been somewhat longwinded but tries to tie things to his personal NFL experiences. In my opinion, Herbstreit may be the best of the sidekicks with playful banner that does not drone on (although he does talk up Al Michaels too much at times).

Collinsworth? He bites down on that hook and runs with it. There are times when he is talking about someone going into commercial and picks back up after the break for another couple of downs. And he does it with that 'my sense of humor is as funny as it was in college' tint in his running commentary. And he will often dip into a morphed Woody Boyd/Cheers folksy routine too.

I could be wrong, but I believe that is essentially what the OP was emphasizing about Collinsworth.
I'm not disagreeing that he probably takes it the furthest but why do people act like it's some sort of unusual, inexplicable thing. Media and the subjects they cover have a quid pro quo relationship. Keep the relationship friendly so they get the inside information.

Sweaty Dak is winless. I called it when I saw his pregame interview while he was drenched in sweat. This was a guaranteed L given his sweatiness.
I brought this up a game or two ago. This isn't "warm up" sweat. This is been working in the heat for hours sweat.

Colingsworth also enjoys all of our beautiful artwork at the stadium, while us fans are hoping for more of "eye of the tiger" training facilities.

WTH, All night long, in Chris Collingsworth was talking about how great Dak is and how he is total control. Did Dak’s agent pay him to say that? It sounded so delusional and patronizing at the same town.

No, I think the Network gave Chris the slant they wanted said, for entertainment purposes. Maybe Jerry was behind that. Who knows...

All announcers give everyone way too much praise these days. I think Gruden started that on MNF and everyone copied him. I think it's part of the whole "You're watching an amazing game full of incredible players" angle they want to sell. Maybe the league even pushes them to do that, who knows.

It is irritating to see routine play called great all the time, though. It's like the people you know who overpraise everything. When someone does that too much, real praise means nothing.

Funniest part was during one of those gushing moments by Collinsworth the footage showed Dak's performance for the game to date and it was something like 6/11 completions for around 40 yards and 0 touchdowns...

You're also going to sweat a lot more when you are properly hydrated and taking care of yourself.

Make no mistake Dak was running for his life vs that blitz though.

It's the same ol', same ol'! Prescott is perceived as some great Dallas Cowboy QB, but if he's so great then why are the Cowboys as bad as they are??????????? I for one am so tired of talking these heads in the game, telling us what favor Prescott's behind tastes like. Prescott is part of the problem and until that is addressed, this organization is going to be one of those " Also ran" teams, season after season.

Herbstreit is probably the best right now. He keeps the Thursday night games going because, sadly, Al Michaels is really nearing the end of his career. Too many obvious errors and repeats things Herbstreit just said.

So Dak is a terrible QB holding back an amazing roster brilliantly constructed by Jerry Jones?

Now tell me how Dak held this team hostage between 1996 and 2015, because I must have missed all the playoff success those 20 years before Dak came in here and ruined it all.

Cris Collinsworth is the opposite of Troy aikman
Cris to me is a commentator who likes to prop most players up.
Aikman dngaf

But why would anyone get that warm before games?

Trust me, I perspire profusely but I would never get to that level before a game even in extreme conditions.
