Did anybody else think the best corner on the field yesterday for the Cowboys was Moore?

100% Agree. Played his butt off.

Don't think he played too bad in the last debacle either.

I mean why didn't he stick on this roster! He should have been here all along IMO!

Released to give Webb an opportunity earlier this year...that's called preferential treatment to protect your draft pick investment. Nothing against Webb but he needs to sit on the bench and learn in practice.

It is a breath of fresh air to see some of these guys like moore and selvie earning their money and playing opportunities.

never understood why he was cut. perhaps they knew his play would warrant more playing time than other players they wanted to see on the field.

The only CB that showed hustle.

Give me three Sterling Moore's over Claiborne, Scandrick and Carr. Sterling actually tries to make plays on the ball while the other three are more reactive than proactive.

SImple: We invested a 4th round pick in a midget from a small school. Jerry wants to see his draft picks playing over some Bill Belicheck cast off. Or to put in language the homers understand: Moore was a "progress stopper."

Was so obvious. I can't believe some posters actually defended this cut early in the year.

He never should have been cut in the first place. I never understood that move at all.

Lol he sure looked better than our 50 million dollar investment.

Guy comes off the street 3 1/2 months later and outperforms everybody else. That should say something about how bad the defense is.

Carr has been terrible for most of this year, and watch Scandrick jog after guys that catch balls on him made me ill. Jerry, I am glad you are forced to watch your money go down the tubes with this team you built.

so its not only lacewell and the draft......its player evaluation on the field right in front of the coaches.......I can see keeping Webb, the question is could Webb or Moore at least replace a STeams player that cannot make the field except for STeams.............I'd say yup

We don't have the backbone as an organization to deal with players like Jenkins, so we have a bunch of nice guys that don't have any fire. If Jerry didn't enable every player on the team, maybe the coach could set the tone for the team on the field. The defense just doesn't have anyone with any attitude that can make a play when we need it. Lee, Ware, Hatcher, Church...all nice guys that disappear when they are needed most. To win a Super Bowl, your best players need to make plays from the time the game starts until the last second on the clock. This organization REACTS to everything that happens in the NFL, it stopped imposing its will on teams the day Jimmy Johnson left the building. Our entire offensive philosophy is based on reacting to what the defense shows us. If this game had happened under Jimmy Johnson, we would have run the ball down the Packers throat until they begged us to stop. We don't do that as an organization. Should it really take Jerry Jones to come out in the media and say we should be blitzing more??? This entire organization is just so passive in everything but overpaying average players. There is no blueprint on what they Cowboy Way is. It is just a lot of Franklin Covey BS sound bites.

Agreed he looked great.. A little devils advocate.. He played his but off to get $$$ for the coming years and there's nothing wrong with that.. Wondering how no other team in the league didn't bring him in for a workout.. But again yes was best corner on our team yesterday.
