Did anyone catch Matt Mosley on the Ticket just now?

I only caught the very end of it, but it sounded like good stuff... Apparently he was talking about the feeling in the locker room and among the coaches. Talked about how the coaches looked like zombies out there and Zimmer's leaving was partly because of it. Also touched on the difficulties this annual return-or-not-return drama had on hiring new coaches. Mentioned Sparano as doing a great job with the offense and how the players really liked and respected him, but Parcells would barely give him credit for calling the plays.

Norm was raving about how good the segment was, so I was hoping someone caught it. Maybe they'll archive it on their site?

Does anyone here really believe that any of these coaches think they are going to get warm fuzzies out of Bill?

Guys look like zombies? Maybe the zombie coaches have a job in ATL that will be announced once their contracts expire. They likely are just playing out the string.

Norm went on a rampage about the team not showing any passion when playing defense and the coaching staff not designing a plan on how to attack the injury-riddled defensiveback field of the Seahawks. He really got animated with anger.

He went on to say how the Lions show up with rookies on the O-Line and 16 players on injured-reserved and their top 3 RB's injured and we couldn't beat the Lions. He basically said the Cowboys have the players but lack PASSION to play the game which leads to coaching.

With the O-line that can't pick up stunts week after week? By the line that still can't block in space on screen passes & outside runs?
Or, was it having the best receiving corp in the NFL come up lame against the Seahawks "Rent-A-DB" defense?
I'm not blaming him, It all falls on BP. I think he refuses to let adjustments and innovation take place.
When will BP realize we have TO, Glenn, & Witten not Ingram, Jackson & McConky? Open it up, its not 1986 anymore!

The most frustrating thing about this statement is that I believe we have the talent on this team to be successful and I would hate to know that we missed out on a golden opportunity to excell with this group of players because the coaches cannot utilize/motivate/scheme the players to succeed. :bang2: :bang2: You never know when or how long the opportunity for success will be there in this day of FA so you have to take advantage of every opportunity.

I would imagine they lose their motivation when they are getting torched,and the coaches do nothing to make adjustments.

Example. Huge 4th down stop that should deliver a victory - O turns around and gives up a safety on the next play.

That stuff creates both a physical and mental beatdown on the D.

I have to disagree with you all, I think it was very sporting and gentelmanly of BP not to try trick plays like a flea flicker or take long downfield shots against a team that was hurting in the secondary.

He wanted a fair game and got one.

The "D" getting deflated by the "O" at times??? If this is the truth the offense should have been downright suicidal constantly trying to play catch up thanks to that swiss cheese defense.

Au contraire, they need to go back to structuring more incentive based contracts. When Roy "The Food Crammer" Williams gets 11 million than his Alfred E. Newman personna takes over. Now some guys are just football dedicated. Whether you paid them 100 thousand or 1 million dollars they will play, like Marion Barber, T-New, Romo, etc...
