Did anyone else think Flacco stepped out of the endzone..

This is all moot.

The Titans blew it offensively. Constantly moving down the field and then collapsing when it was crucial.

And really, most of the credit should go to the Ravens defense once again. Capitalizing on Collins redzone misread, and of course the big fumble/recoveries...

We can rip on the Titans all we want, but that Ravens defense deserves just as much credit for taking advantage once again.

It just goes to show you that with some extra time, Flacco will kill ya - even if it happens with a 50 second play clock!!
In all seriousness, I hate Baltimore with a passion. Not just the team; the entire city...but whether or not Flacco performs next Sunday, he really looks like he is something they can look forward to with open eyes and arms. He made some big time throws today, and a lot weren't caught due to him not having receivers like we Dallas fans have to enjoy - the kind that know to drag 2 toes! What I'm trying to say is that his stats do not reflect his big game play today. Kill me for saying that, I deserve it. I'll say it again - I hate Baltimore, but they look the part.

People who didnt see the replay later on CBS need to stop saying he stepped out cause they showed the replay and it wasnt even close.
No joke. Talk about speaking without knowing.

Initially, I thought he stepped out too.

I'm surprised they didn't at least discuss it and review it on the
broadcast.

Also, the non-call on the clear delay of game was pretty bad.

That is an absolute referee flub. It was 0 a long time. No flag.

I've actually seen that quite a bit this year in college and the pros...usually from the shotgun. I think if they see the clock hit zero, they look back to the center since the QB doesn't really have to have the ball before 0, and if he's moving, they let it slide...often a split second is lost there when it's on zero and their eyes are moving from the QB to the Center.

That's not a technical explanation, just what I think is happening, because I've seen the clock hit zero a bunch of times when the ball seems to come out a little late...but usually no call....if the QB is under center....it almost always gets called.

The guys keeping the time and watching the field clocks are behind the QB, not down the line, so there's a lot between them and the ball ...

so he didnt step out of bounds

the play clock did run out but they got an extra 1.5 seconds due to
the official looking back and then looking at the ball....happens regularly
but not usually that long a time

my question....on the second of the 2 plays from the end zone i thought
Chris Johnson might have been down in the end zone...looking at it again
it did look like the ball crossed the plane...going away from the end zone.
the announcers never mentioned it being that close...did anybody else
notice that ?

I thought the refs blew an obvious PI in the endzone at the end of the 2nd quarter. Collins throws deep to Gage (I think) Samari roll is in front of him, boxes him out like its basketball while never even attempting to look for the pass. It was blatant.
