Church got burned by Tate for a 51 yard touchdown in the first quarter, and gave up a good sized gain to Tate on a slant when he took a poor angle.

I think he burned Spillman on that same play as well.

I foresee a gif of one play where Church tried to go for the knockout blow, completely wiffed, and Tate scored the first touchdown of the game

Yeah, he really seemed shaken up a few minutes later when he was running 51 yards for a TD.

Actually he was really pissed about getting hammered so early in the game. You could see it on his face. That he scored a few minutes later doesn't change that.

Church looked terrible on Tate's TD, but Tate should've never had time to even run a double move. If you send 6 you better get home, leaving a safety on an island with a WR isn't fair.

He took a bad angle on another Tate catch that moved the chains, but aside from that he was solid. Made some great tackles and provided great help on Megatron over the top. Church & Wilcox did an excellent job of not letting Megatron beat us.
