I am curious if you watched that because he explained that He feels Terry basically shot himself in the foot with the organization this offseason and doesnt think he will even be invited to camp. JJT is an Ohio State Alum and is close with glenn, so he must feel that there is a strain on both sides to say that.

I am bummed to hear him say that. I am still holding out hope for terry.

His point was just that since he he decided to play hardball with jerry he kind of hurt his position and standing in the organization. Therefore JJT is assuming they would just let him go and find another team before camps open so he has a fresh start and the season is not lost for him.

He said I am not signing so release me and I think JJT must either have knowledge or just assume that the comment didnt go over too well.

You can't cut an injured player. You have to agree to an injury settlement.

I not real sure about that 1mil amount for a 5 year vet. I thought it was in the 700k range.

Myself, I can see both sides of the argument. I do want Glenn to play but there are those (rumored cowboy management) who believe it won't hold up.

If Glenn is confident with his knee, why not roll the dice. It's only "that same knee injury" that would decrease his original 1.74mil (?) contract.
