Sorry if this is a repost, but I can't seem to find it.
Saints waived tight end Ronnie Ghent, offensive linemen Ben Archibald, Brian Ferentz, and Rob Petitti, receiver Derrick Doyle, and defensive linemen Rodney Leisle, Scott Scharff and Brandon Villarreal.Impact: Ghent was behind Mark Campbell, Eric Johnson, and Billy Miller. Aside from Petitti, the rest of these players were just in camp for depth.
I remember there was quite an uproar last year when we released him, with a lot of folks claiming Parcells to be an idiot.
A bit surprising to not see him make the Saints 53.
