I don't think there was any chance whatsoever that Jerry was going to change coaches this offseason. I think he knew that from day one he was going to give him is 3-4 years.

I think Jery's comments were telling when he talked about Romo and Roy Williams. Said Roy never had a chance because his practice time was disrupted by Romo's injury and hindered him from getting into the offense.

That tells me Jerry probably thinks the injuries had a huge impact and why he is giving Wade another chance.

I still wish he'd hire Skeletor...

Jerra's stubborness and ego saved Wade.
Other injury-hit teams, like New England, have managed to go on. And go on without the girlish drama of recent weeks, no, er, the whole season.

Jason Garrett saved Wade Phillips. He is not ready to become Head Coach, that fact was proven throughout the course of this season and therefore Wade Phillips has been given another year so Jerry Jones can see if he can justify promoting Jason Garrett after next season.

No one expects to win every game. But to put the crutch of this season's demise on injuries is silly and shortsighted. Should we just fold when we lose our left guard even though we've got 3 more probowlers on the OL?

Everyone deals with injuries and short of a season ending injury to our QB, we should be able to overcome them. We've got far bigger problems than injuries this season.
