Does anyone know if an ejection has occurred yet under the new league instruction?

When it was announced I posted that it was likely that a Cowboys player would be ejected for a ticky tack contact before a Cheatriots or Squealers player would be ejected for a blatant contact. So far, I haven't seen or heard of any player being ejected.

Lets give the Cowboys a little bit of credit here. They know what's a stake and won't do anything stupid to mess it up. Will Kitna be lit up like a christmas tree? Yes, but they will do it within the rules. As far as them taking out Romo....give me a break. Have you listened to the quotes coming out of that locker room? They aren't exactly loyal to their quarterback.

I don't like it. Newman should have kept quiet. If he really said what is reported, he may have taken away an advantage the locker room material of kitna's comments would have given the Cowboys, and given Detroit a reason to play. It's alright for fans to talk about this stuff, but players should keep quiet until game time.

I was as amped about the "bulletin board" material as anyone earlier this week... but I think it's time for Wade to get the guys focused on the real prize and just let their play to the talking when it comes to Kitna.

I agree, completely...Let the play do the talking...Last thing you wanna see is a heavily penalized team get out of control and lacking focus.

And it's hard to misinterpret what he said, sounded a lot like bounty talk and that will get a nice response from Goodell...I preferred it before when they were simply looking forward to the game for revenge.

Apparently, he's well aware of the 'hoopla' surrounding the comments and has been ducking the media....Was supposed to have a conference call with DMN today but curiously has been subbed for WR Calvin Johnson instead.

Scratch that, Kitna just spoke to Detroit reporters about the incident from last season....Gives the classic 'Taken out of context' rebuttal

The host asked Newman How they could be sure there would not be a repeat performance of last years loss to the Lions. Newman said that last year Jon was able to stand in the pocket and sling the ball around to all his recievers and that we need to get preasure right off the bat. He said that Kitna has to go down early and often.

The host tried to bait Newman saying do you want him to go down early and often because of his comments? New replied that it makes no difference to him. He stated that Jon can say what he wants and if Kitna feels he can take advantage of him that he is more then open to Kitna throwing the ball his way.

TNew told the host alot of people know that he looks to swat the ball before catching it and returning it but for this game he will make and exception.

Once again the Host tried to bait him by asking what the other players feel about Jon's comments. Newman said he couldn't say how they feel because he isn't them but he knows alot of people are not happy about it. He said some just feel Jon is talking out his but again. He said Jon does that alot and then asked the host how his 10 win season is looking.

Never mentioned a bounty or anything this is just one stupid Lions fan trying to get a rise out of other Lions fans. I don't know if he thinks by getting the fans upset he is some how helping his team or what but there is no truth to it.
