As soon as they ran that play I got angry as well and wanted to Boo.

The AFC was just taking shot after shot downfield.

After they tried to run that pass in the flats to Alge Crumpler I about started booing too and then I heard a lot of boo's coming from the stands.

Im not sure if Romo was getting boo'd or if the fans were boo'ing at the absolutely dull playcalling Sean Payton had put together..

What do you guys think?

Next thing you know people will be saying that Payton blew the game to spite the Cowboys. Bad play calling and all.

I dont think he was doing anything spite the Cowboys but some of those playcalls were just bad.

I dont want to start taking shots at Payton because it was his 1st pro bowl and all and he isnt used to the routine.

But if Romo completes that stupid little bubble pass to Crumpler I think the fans still boo. That was just as basic as it gets in a All Star game.

But all star games are supposed to be that way. Basic calls, and risky, over the top calls.

The game was just sloppy regardless. On both teams. Poor blocking, poor effort, poor coverage, poor play calling, etc, .

IMO it was the playcall that got booed. The crowd doesn't care who threw the dang ball. The playcall was weak and the execution was weaker.

Uh, it was the Pro Bowl.

Booing at the Pro Bowl???

I dunno...I can't get that excited about this game.

It would be like booing a microwave oven. Or getting excited about taking the garbage out.

Only reason I was enjoying it so much is because we had 7 players in it and a Quarterback in it.

I was excited to see a Dallas Cowboy QB representing the NFC in the Pro Bowl.

In Hawaii, for every Cowboy fan we have, we have just as many 49ers Raiders Broncos fan etc....

There was a guy in the parkinglot next to us yesterday yelling at me in my Roy jersey that since Romo bobbled the snap against Seattle,it means he's overrated. There was just as much Romo love as there was Romo hate yesterday.

I'm sure some people were booing Romo yesterday. In fact, some people used tghis time to inform me that Romo does indeed, suck.

But whatever, my experience with pro football games is this: The collective intelligence of the crowd isn't really all that bright. Whether they boo or not is not an accurate barometer of Romo's performance.

We get to take the garbage out today? :bounce: :bounce:

In all seriousness the Pro Bowl is no big deal. After all, it's not as if Aikman and Emmitt had great performances in the game either. They looked rather pedestrian in those games.

THAT is the ONLY thing I kept thinking about.

I HATE this game with a passion because of that reason.

True. Injuries are a rarity in the game, but imagine this board if Romo dislocated his elbow like Brees did yesterday.

Hey...remember Robert Edwards? It wasn't even during the game that he had his career destroyed. From what I recall it was a rookie flag football game before the Pro Bowl.

It has to happen, sooner or later. Someone is going to get seriously hurt.

It's an example of the NFL simply trying to make more and more money...ultimately, in a game not many people care about.

So every year, when we get out of the game without any injuries, I'm relieved.

Yeah, I remember that. It was a flag football game on Waikiki beach if I recall. Edwards went up for a catch and landed horribly horribly wrong.

That's probably the worst thing about these exhibiton games :the prospect of suffering a major injury.
