I thought NFLN was going to enhance the games with new footage and what not?

The only time they showed anything was after a TD.

Game of the week airs friday nights and is produced by NFL films.

It is different than NFL replay. NFL replay uses the original game footage and announcers. GOTW uses NFL Films narration.
