Did the Cowboys make the right choice not signing Murray?

They did well on HALF of the equation, because you don't want to sign a guy with an injury history to an 8 million a year contract, but where they failed is not getting anyone to replace him. The Chaz Green pick should have been an rb.

Obviously yes.

I think the argument should be more about the Cowboys not adding someone else in the draft.

Paying a aging RB 8 mill a year is just dumb unless it was for Peterson.

Running backs are dime of dozen. The problem is, the Cowboys did not get a suitable replacement for him. All the running backs we have combined don't even come close to Murray as a talent. McFadden had potential though. Lets hope he stays healthy. I'm just not a believer in Joseph Randle. He's a good backup but not a lead back.

We are going to rue the day that we didn't sign him. (Sarcasm and for the those posters who understand the meaning on this board). I think the Cowboys made the right decision.

Some of you really need to let go and move on. And there is no better song for moving past old and bygone relationships than this:

Nope. Absolutely not. They could have easily signed him. They let him walk in favor of a pathetic, injury prone McFadden and counting on some unproven backs in Randle and Dunbar. Guys who can't pass protect to save their lives.

They will regret that move.

Did the Cowboys make the right decision to not re-sign DeMarco Murray for 8 million a year?

Yes or No?

Absolutely. The wrong decision was doing nothing more to replace him than bring in McFadden. That puts the burden on Randle to step up and carry a load he hasn't proven he can carry yet.
