No question when they have 12 on the field, smash our QB in the face, and hog tie our receiver 10 yds down the field.
I generally agree, however the "smash our QB in the face" penalty was hardly a smash. That one to me looked like it could go either way.
By the way, I'm not arguing that the refs gave us the game but penalties did keep some of our drives alive. The difference in the game really came down to defense because we held them to 3 points instead of 7 on their last scoring drive and in the end shut them down 4 times on 1st-4th and gaol.
The point here is that no matter what is argued about the refs, the Chargers still had 1st and goal with eonugh time to score a TD for the win. And when it came to it, they got shut down. I posted this thread because someone and I got into an argument about this where he said the refs gave us the game. But when I pointed out how the Chargers got shut down in the end with destiny in their hands he gave up his argument.
