Didn't most people want Jason Williams?

I like him great potential, but very raw.

I was very interested in adding Jason Williams, but it was just hard to figure out when he would need to be drafted.

X is a big time playmaker from a small program who will have to prove he can handle the jump in competition.

Cowboys special teams coach Joe Decamilis is on with Spags now.

Williams is a big time explosion guy, great in space and a special teamer.

Played a stand up three technique over the guard in college much like a DT, which made him hard to evaluate for teams.

Williams has a very business like approach when they met but also a very engaging personality. He gives us a chance to compete a nickel 'backer with Kevin Burnett gone and be a real force on specials.

Getting tired of the "you can never draft enough pass rushers" shtick in these middle rounds while ignoring the glaring holes. This was not value.

ILB is a glaring hole.

Did ESPN just say that Kiper had him as the 19th OLB in the draft and McShay had him as a 7th rounder?

Wouldn't go by McShay, he's terrible.

The bottomline is that we didn't have to take him here. You base draft value on the level of talent and when you can take him, and there's no way we couldn't have still drafted him a few rounds deeper. McShay had him going in the seventh round.

I don't care what BSPN says honestly... I'm looking at the draft on NFL Network.

I won't lie: don't know who he is: but I didn't know about Scandrick either and he turned out great. I'll reserve judgement, but the early returns are very positive. Looks like ESPN is scrambling for info. too: still haven't talked about him. His measurables are great, so we'll see.........

If McShay said that, he's an idiot. This guy was the fastest LB in the draft and a fast riser.

For cripes sake, people are acting like this is Mike Mitchell. He's not at all. We took him in just the right area.

Well I'm not sure if that is what they said. I'm a ways away from the TV listening to the radio broadcast.

You may hate him, but he's a director for Scout Inc. He certainly knows more about the draft and spends more time in analysis than anybody here.

He's not a pass rusher. He'll play the Mo inside backer, play the nickel and learn from Brooking this year, and take over at some point.

Basically, he'll be what Kevin Burnett was supposed to be.

If that's the case, then hell yeah.
