Going into the Minny game I was pretty confident in a win but after the game was going for some time that confidence disappeared and I was not sure we were going to win.

Going into the NY Game...I thought there was a good chance we lost that game as we always have tough games with them and they normally get better as the season goes on. And during the game we did not play well and my confidence was pretty low in the outcome of the game.

From the start of the game and even after they took the lead in the 2nd half...I had no feeling that we would lose the game. Even when they took that lead to me it seemed like they were getting a cheap TD in garbage time with us way ahead even though we were not ahead...that was a weird feeling but that was how I felt.

I did not like settling for the FGs as I thought they might tie it up or even go up by a point with a TD but even with that I thought we would answer with another score to win.

That game just had a different feel to me from the other two. Even with the penalties and drive killers. Of course, maybe that was just me.

I didn't have a great feeling going into the Min, thought we would win ugly, and sure enough we did. I had a bad feeling going into the Giant game, last night I thought we would win by two scores, and had we not had all those penalties, we would have.

I am glad you had that complete confidence. I did not. after the cowboys did not make that first down to end the game and they had to punt I had the feeling it was going to be the Vikings game. the cowboys stopped the two point try to win that one atleast.

Pretty much agree with this. I was never worried about this Tampa game going into it and even when Tampa came back and took the lead. Tampa hadn't faced an offense like ours and even when we got behind against the NYG we were driving until Dez's fumble. I don't feel like any defense can stop our offense. We usually do it with penalties that put in 3rd and long situations but we overcame it last night to win the game.

I know what you mean, and I'm not sure exactly what it was either that made me more confident throughout this one. I think maybe it just felt like there were fewer bone-headed plays and penalties in this one than in the previous few games. Don't know that for certain without checking the box score, but it just felt like we weren't shooting ourselves in the foot quite as much.

Agree. I felt we were moving the ball well enough to come out on top, no matter what TB did. The two touchdowns that the Bucs got in the second half were the result of drives that I didn't feel they could consistently repeat. Our coverage on several of those passes was actually really good, but their receivers were simply making some sick catches on balls that didn't have more than a few inches of leeway to be caught. Winston made some great throws and the receivers made some great catches. Wasn't much more the D could have done, IMO. Most everything our Boys were doing was pretty much what they've been doing all year.

Even though we didn't score on the first drive, I saw enough to give me confidence that they would be able to move the ball. Tampa couldn't stop Zeke. and they never got enough pressure on Dak to rattle him the way the vikings and giants did. He was able to stand in the pocket and pick them apart with the short game all night. If it wasn't for another round of poorly timed penalties, we easily could've scored another 10 - 14 points.

It's because the offense looked better. No shade to Dak & Co. But in Minny and NY, the offense was stalling and making uncharacteristic mistakes. There was no flow to it at all.

The difference against Tampa was simply that the offense looked like the offense again. It was flowing...even with the penalties. It was flowing.
