I think that both of our teams failed to meet expectations this year. Our season was a classic case of a team that was crowned before they even stepped on the field, only to have other teams come in with a fire in their belly and literally "crown" them. The last game summed it up pretty well.

Even after Romo came back and their backs were against the wall the attitude of entitlement seemed to prevail from these players, particularly Romo. With the exception of a handful of games (Commanders game #2, Giants game #2) they still played like they were expecting for teams to just roll over for them until the bitter end.

The Rams won 2 games this year. Back to back against us and the Skins. Difference is they had "their" QB and we didn't. Still should have killed the RAMS with me back there.

This team did have an outrageous amount of injuries. By the end of the season we were relying on Tra freaking Battle to play safety. Not to forget all of the other positions where we suffered injuries.

And if you watched the games close enough, in the second half of the season Owens was getting seperation, just Romo wasn't finding him.

Ya, it is what it is, and just because you are a Commanders fan doesn't mean you aren't correct. I do believe the talent we have assembled is overrated by many, no doubt in my mind. Our OL is severely overrated and I've said same for a while now, injuries or not.
