Diggs Really Should Have Played

So, why didn't Diggs play?

Could he have helped tonight.

Defense still gave up 34 points.

That's a whole lot. We're still 5 players away, at least, on defense.

They should have squashed whatever the beef was. And Diggs should have played.

Egos got in the way on this one, and Jerral should have been the bigger man because what was best for the team was Diggs playing....
I finally know answer to the Diggs saga.

They don't want him to get injured due to injury guarantee in contract.

They don't want to cut him because he could go to another team.

His practice window ends before the next game. They have to either put him on the 53 or on permanent IR.
- I don't know if they can put a healthy player on permanent IR.

Interesting. I'm afraid it's too late to matter.

He was bad this season. But at least you could man up on him and run some different looks. It can't get worse than what you're already doing, When you're last. That's what gets me about EverFluff: his rigid scheme.

I think Diggs should've played, but it doesn't matter because this thing has been over, and the decisions this team makes with personnel is in alignment with their losing. Diggs and Butler are on IR while a 2 rookies (Bridges, Revel) get lit up, and Carson too. They can hate Diggs, but what's the explanation for Butler not being activated? This defense has been in chaos all season without leadership or direction.
Spot on here. To me the saddest part is that Eboli whatever his name is faced the NFC north 6x a year and still couldn't roll out a game plan, Nuff said.....kick his butt to the curb. Damn dude

If Diggs plays again for Dallas, it should be without the stars on his helmet....bro checked out a while back and is a complete embarrassment to DC legacy.

I think Diggs pissed Jerry off with the whole rehab fiasco and played poorly as a result of coming back too soon; and coupled with the subsequent stint on the DL for a nebulous home injury…he is gone next year.
Given the fact that Diggs isn’t playing, in spite of poor secondary play is telling. Players play hurt all the time, nursing nagging injuries at this point in the season; so Diggs at even 60% is better than any CB they have not named Bland, although he has played poorly this season as well.
