I am almost beside myself in anger right now. I bought a new HDTV last monday and scheduled an HDTV package upgrade for Thurs just in time for the playoffs.
Needless to say, they have canceled on me several times now as I sit here on Sat. and I can't even count how many verbal reemings I have given their tech support over the phone.
I was PROMISED that they would be here today between 9-Noon to upgrade my dish and box...it is now 5:30pm and all I am told is that I am "on the schedule" when I was supposed to be the first on the list.
I know they will show up right at freaking kickoff and unhook my dish for the upgrade...and I am too damn drunk to hit a sports bar safely...
I don't know their hiring process, but they need to get a new one. What should have been an easy upgrade has turned into a nightmare for me.
I originally wanted an HD DVR box, but they wanted to charge me $200 for the installation and $20 extra per month for their gold HD package. I decided to just keep my standard DVR and go with the HD box for $50 installed.
I changed my mind and when I tried to have the box changed on the order, they suddenly quoted me $200 for the box and $70 per month extra for the Gold Package. When I argued the price saying I was quoted $20, I was treated like an idiot. The cheaper price was even down in their computer under my order, but they refused to acknowledge it.
One thing is for sure and that is that I am NEVER using DishNet again...freaking ever and I am on the verge of climbing my roof and beating the ever loving crap out of the dishes up there.
