So every Sunday one of my favorite activities is doing the "Word Sleuth" search puzzle in the newspaper.

There have been 25 coaches who have won a Super Bowl. The puzzle had 16 of them in it. The nine coaches left out were Noll, Landry, Johnson, Parcells, Seifert, Ewbank, Madden, McCafferty and Switzer.

Only two teams that have won a Super Bowl didn't have at least one coach in the puzzle: the Jets, who have won one Super Bowl, and the Cowboys, who have won five.

The Cowboys are the only team that has had three different coaches win the Super Bowl, and none of them were mentioned. Neither was the coach who won two Super Bowls before coaching the Cowboys.
