4 years, 2-3 every season. 4 different QBs. Only once did the team score less than the previous year in the final 5 games (2005 scored less than 2004). Every season the defense allowed more points than the previous year.

A trend that must be eliminated if we are to get where we want to be.

Can you believe that nonsense with the talent we have on that side of the ball?

Draft all Defense anyone? Cover your ears from the screaming. yet these numbers would suggest that we need to of you're not paying attention.

and I am right there with you. It's obvious he is the problem, and not part of the solution.

Next Monday morning Jones should meet with Parcells, and after that conversation Parcells will come to the conclusion that he must "retire", otherwise he will have to be humuliated even more because Jones will HAVE to fire him.

If Jones offers to "buy out " the last year of the contract Bill will retire. Then again, if Jerry let Bill walk after last season and promoted Peyton, well, we don't want to go there do we.;)

Let's put it this way...would you trade our entire roster for the Saints entire roster? Straight across.

I wouldn't.

Sean Payton got more production out of Shanle, Fujita, and Copper than Parcells ever did.

Nauseating isn't it?

Course fans of other teams were saying that about us at the end of '03 when BP got QC and the likes to 10 wins/playoffs. ;)

But yeah it's time for him to go. Then again I'm not so sure coaches across the board shouldnt just be on 2 year plans anymore as opposed to 4 or 5 year ones.

Theres countless examples of guys getting their teams to the show or close to it in their first couple years onboard. Even when it was thought those teams had no shot. Nevermind the fact that they usually come back to earth a year or 2 later as well.

Even worse, we have no significant injuries this year except to Ellis. In every other season we were missing lots of players, particularly on the O-Line but this season every one of our starting OLs has played the whole year (all 5 started all 16 games). Terry Glenn has been healthy, our CBs have stayed healthy (for the most part), we have no real injuries outside of Ellis.

That trend is truly pathetic and shows just how desperately we need to claen house with the coaching staff.

Maybe you should forward that list to Jerry Jones.

Sean Payton got more production with players the Cowboys chose to cut, than with the players we kept.

Interesting, I thought Payton was to blame for the horrible offense last year. After this I think it was Parcells holding him back. I think Parcells keeps his assistants from "cutting 'em loose" on D and on O. Could Zimmer's problems be that Parcells won't let him run the D the way he wants?
