Penalties were a problem but we still could've won the game if the defense could've contained Kyler Murray. But I can't overly blame them because they haven't faced a guy like Kyler Murray all year. Our defense is sort of feast or famine. The offense showed up, albeit late, they finally came to the party.

He's a great QB and it drives me nuts. I keep thinking of that dropped potential INT in the end-zone......

Look I’ve sworn off the NFL, Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys a dozen times since 1995. Every time I say I’m done, I know I don’t mean it. I’ve taken a few games off at most.

Our family gathers in the living room on game day . I usually cook something nice. It’s an event here.

We invest more than cash as fans. The NFL is our real national pass time. And, we deserve better.

Every single team in the league gets the similar missed vs called fouls

the difference is that good teams and QBs are able to take advantage of a missed call and get points, bad teams and QBs can’t take advantage of it

Because getting a hold called is at best 50-50. This is why there is holding on every play because the OLine can usually get away with it because it is hard for the ref to see that specific penalty with the chaos of the scrum and him having to look at multiple blockers. Basically if you looked at every NFL game you would probably see about 20 missed holding calls in a game easily.

If this is true then why do we hear announcers say "they're gonna call that every times" 10-15 times a game? I played and coached football a LONG time.. So I KNOW that there is holding on every single play.. My problem is that the refs are just too damn inconsistent when they choose to call it. I honestly wish they would call every damn one of them on both sides because if they did blocking would be taught differently and this ambiguity would go away. I can't stand watching a penalty be called in one situation but then ignored in another. Exact same play.. should be exact same penalty. Not "let them play at the end of the game" or any of that other cliche nonsense. I mean I guarantee you that Schultz committed the exact same hold on several of our 2 yard runs as he did on Zeke's 20 yard run. But they only called it on the long one.. Why?

While the missed fumble on the last drive was a killer, let's not forget another bit of shenanigans earlier in the game. DLaw was pressuring Murray in the endzone and was clearly held in the endzone as the lineman grabbed and held his jersey. This was called on Schultz later in the game, but it was not called here. This should have resulted in a safety, thus bringing the score to 3-2. This also would have been important as we'd get the ball in great position, especially considering the way we were returning the ball on kick returns.

Gregory, Parsons and DLaw are getting dragged down multiple times a game with no calls. We should be getting minimum 2 holding calls a game with this dline if the refs weren't so corrupt.

One has to ask themselves; How does one of the better pass rush teams in the League suddenly become completely ineffective .. against an admittedly depleted offensive line?

Holding calls were not applied evenly to both teams.

The reffing this year is so so subjective.
What is a penalty in one game is not in the next and so on.

I agree. Jerry and all the owners need to fix this leaguewide ref issue. The league is becoming less enjoyable and more unwatchable. These refs are ruining the fun of this league.

And I heard last night that the Green Bay Packers first penalty was called in the 4th quarter after the two minute warning. Are you going to tell me that GB did not hold or interfere in that game? There is way too much disparity between the referee teams And the way they call the games. Or they are just lazy or illiterate and unqualified to be a ref.

I totally agree, Law has been playing football his entire life and knows when he's being held and pointed it out to the official who had the second best sit in the house to view the NON-CALLS!

I keep mentioning this because it is so on point. This is the same GB team that wasn't called for offensive holding for 14 straight quarters of football. That is simply impossible unless there is an agenda being applied. All the "Winners win and Losers whine" is a load of crap when the real issue is:

Why do we, the fans of all teams, have to settle for inept officiating at best and corrupt officiating at worst? Baseball utilizes replay in an effort to get the call right.

The NFL, by virtue of the ambiguity in the rules, seeks to do something else.
