The final portion of the Cowboys’ offseason schedule was completed Thursday at AT&T Stadium. Two of the three minicamp sessions were held at Jerry Jones’ venue in Arlington after opening the practice week Tuesday at Valley Ranch.

Players and coaches now have more than a month off before training camp begins July 28 in Oxnard, Calif.

To get you caught up on what happened during the previous week, here is a summary with links.

1.) Rolando McClain was back working with his teammates. The veteran middle linebacker is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery, so he was limited to only a few individual drills. He was not at the practice facility during the three weeks of organized team activities. When asked about his return on Tuesday, McClain joked with reporters that he would answer questions when Dez Bryant showed up.

2.) Well, Dez Bryant showed up on Thursday. Despite not being pleased with his current contract situation, the star receiver watched a motivational video with his teammates before the final practice and he hung out on the sidelines throughout all drills. At one point, Bryant even chatted with Jerry Jones for roughly 15 minutes. The two ended the conversation with a hug.

3.) The offseason program is complete and there is still no word on Greg Hardy’s appeal. SportsDay’s David Moore believes a ruling is coming in the near future and explained why in this Thursday blog post.

4.) Although Terrance Williams suffered an elbow injury near the end of Thursday’s practice, X-rays came back negative. Williams had been playing the No. 1 receiver role with Bryant skipping OTAs and minicamp. A little over an hour after suffering the injury, Williams tweeted: “I’m not injury prone. It takes a lot more. I’m straight, thanks.”

5.) Not only did Tony Romo make it through the entire offseason program in good health, the Cowboys quarterback was very accurate. Jerry Jones said Wednesday that he “wouldn’t dare have higher expectations” for Romo. “I’ll take the way he’s been playing,” he said. “I will take it and call it a day right now, if you’ll give me the whole year like that.”

What did Jason Witten think of Romo’s offseason work? “He’s playing at a high level,” Witten said. “I don’t know that he threw an interception all offseason.”
