What's depressing is that I live in a family of Giant fans, and this present streak of the Cowboys is a longer drought without a Super Bowl appearance than the Giants experienced in any of our lifetimes (My sister is 51, my brother is 48). And, the Giants from the mid 1960's until the early 1980's were seriously bad.

I thought the 2016 season was absolutely thrilling. The 1st year my 7 year old daughter was able to comprehend football and the Dallas Cowboys - she's now hooked. Yes, winning it all is the ultimate competitive goal but in the big picture, enjoying ourselves and having fun is the social goal. These goals, in my mind, are not mutually exclusive.
